Wireless Network Information
The wireless network at Missouri State University is compliant with the IEEE 802.11b,
IEEE 802.11a, IEEE 802.11g, and IEEE 802.11n standards. The standards can
all be used simultaneously by different devices providing data services at up to
11Mbps for "b", 54Mbps for "a" and "g", or 600Mbps
for "n". The wireless network provides users with flexibility and
mobility that may not be available on the wired network.
New Wireless SSIDs, all starting with "MSU", are now available and will replace all other SSIDs before the Fall Semester starts.
The old ones will be deleted on August 9th, 2014 so please switch soon!
