Networking and Telecommunications in Computer Services is responsible for the management and use of telephone cable/conduit inside and outside of the buildings.

The primary uses of telephone cable/conduit are voice and data communications.  Cable/conduit use other than voice and data (e.g. video, fire alarm, energy management) shall be based on availability and approval by the Director of Computer Services.

Any conduit containing telephone cable, regardless of what other cable or wiring may be occupying the same conduit, will be the responsibility of Networking and Telecommunications.

Empty conduit, except for conduit specifically identified for Physical Plant, will be the responsibility of Networking and Telecommunications.
