- Student Network Specialist


Computer Services is currently seeking a student worker to assist the Networking team in supporting and troubleshooting the data network for the Springfield campus.



The Networking team of Computer Services is responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining high-quality data and video networks for Missouri State. The successful applicant will be involved in the day-to-day operations of the network, and their duties will include:


  • Network troubleshooting
  • Cable testing
  • Inventory management
  • Maintaining database of networking equipment and jacks
  • Programming/configuring routers and switches



  • Minimum two years remaining at the University preferred
  • Prefer to be available to work during summer and semester breaks
  • Working knowledge of computers
  • Programming/Web programming abilities and/or experience preferred
  • Networking experience preferred but not necessary


Training will be provided. Starting pay is $9.15/hr. Schedule is flexible, 15-20 hours per week between 8am - 5pm. If you are interested or want more information, please contact and/or leave your resume with:
